Sawyer Nursery School is a nonprofit nursery school, licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Childhood Education and Care, and has operated for over 40 years in an educational building of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading.
We currently offer a 2-day program for age 2.9 and three year olds and a 3-day program for four year olds. We require that interested families tour the school, as Sawyer operates on a lottery system. Sawyer seeks to serve the diverse needs of young children from all races and ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and is entirely non-denominational.
